CHICAGO (CBS) — A master musician’s instrument is back in his hands after it was stolen from O’Hare.
Millions viewed the ensuing plea on Facebook after it was stolen. CBS 2’s Brad Edwards was there for the reunion.
Musician Harry Manx picked up his one-of-a–kind Mohan Veena Indian guitar from the CPD’s evidence warehouse Tuesday.
The guitar vanished at a luggage carousel at O’Hare’s Terminal 2, two weeks ago. Police believe Anthony Hargrove, 59, a known luggage troller at O’Hare and Midway nabbed it.
“I sorta felt I’d never see it again,” said Manx. “I’m sure when he opened the case he got a shock. Unfortunately for him it’s a one of kind instrument and it wouldn’t go far unnoticed.”
