(CBS) – Charges have been filed against a man who allegedly wanted to blow up the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in west suburban Elmhurst.

Glenn Schumacher, 58, is charged with one count of disorderly conduct for making false bomb threats.

Authorities say Schumacher posted a comment on a local news website that suggested he was going to place pressure cooker bombs to resolve traffic issues at the parade, which was held last weekend without a hitch.

Schumacher was being held on a $100,000 bond.
