(CBS) – Two people, including an on-duty FedEx worker, were hurt in a shooting Friday evening in the Hyde Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting occurred at 6:37 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Drexel Avenue, police News Affairs Ana Pacheco said, citing preliminary information.

The FedEx employee, a 35-year-old female, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition with two gunshot wounds to her right leg, police told CBS 2.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the left arm and taken to Northwestern in good condition, Pacheco said.
