(CBS) In an announcement that comes as little surprise, Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw will miss Game 6 against the Wild on Tuesday night in Minnesota as he continues to recover from a lower body injury, Chicago coach Joel Quenneville told reporters Monday.

Shaw was injured in Game 1 after taking a hit from Wild defenseman Clayton Stoner, and he hasn’t played since. Chicago leads the best-of-seven series 3-2.

Shaw is “progressing,” Quenneville said Monday, but a timeframe for his return remains unclear. Quenneville called him “day-to-day.”
