CHICAGO (STMW) – A TCF Bank branch was robbed Sunday afternoon in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side.

The bank branch at 5516 N. Clark St. was robbed about 12:15 p.m., FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said.

A male walked into the bank, demanded money and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

The suspect is described as a Asian male in his early 20s, standing about 5-foot-11, with a slim build, according to the FBI. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

The FBI and Chicago Police are investigating.
