CHICAGO (CBS) — Police are warning about a series of armed robberies occurring across the street, and down the block, from the front entrance to the Museum of Science and Industry.

Police say a trio of boys, appearing to be between 16 and 18 years old, are believed responsible for the holdups, on the 5600 and 5700 blocks of South Everett Drive, just north of the museum.

Typically, the trio approach a victim, pull a gun and demand the victim’s valuables.
