(CBS) White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu has been named the American League Rookie of the Month for June.

Abreu batted .313 with 10 homers, 22 RBIs and had a .677 slugging percentage in 25 games last month. He’s the first White Sox player to win the award twice in a season, as he also earned the honor in April.

Abreu leads the majors with a .627 slugging percentage and is tied for the lead in homers with 26.
