(STMW) — A bank was robbed Tuesday afternoon in the Lakeview neighborhood on the North Side.

The Fifth Third Bank branch, at 640 W. Diversey, was robbed at 12:16 p.m., according to the FBI.

The robber entered the bank and demanded a money, police said. He then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late 40s to 50s, standing between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-1, according to the FBI. He was wearing an orange poncho and sunglasses.
