Collins, Wilson Among 9 Players Cut By Bears

(CBS) – The Chicago Bears have cut nine players from their roster, the team announced Sunday.

The nine cut players cut are: safety Adrian Wilson, defensive tackle Nate Collins, guard Dylan Gandy, running back Michael Ford, wide receiver Greg Herd, wide receiver Kofi Hughes, offensive tackle Joe Long, cornerback Derricus Purdy and cornerback Peyton Thompson.

The roster now stands at 81, and it needs to be down to 75 by 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
