Watch: Madison Bumgarner Quadruple-Fists Beers After Wild-Card Win
(CBS) The Giants are off to the National League Divisional Series after an 8-0 win against the Pirates on Wednesday night in the wild-card game that was spurred by an impressive four-hit shutout by left-hander Madison Bumgarner.
When it was over, San Francisco naturally celebrated with a beer and champagne shower. And Bumgarner was a leader of the celebration in the clubhouse, just as he was on the mound. In a scene you might expect at a college party gone crazy, Bumgarner attempted to quadruple-fist beers.
That's four at the same time, for the unfamiliar. If the goal was for all the beer to finds its way to Bumgarner's belly, it didn't really work -- but it was entertaining nonetheless. Check it out below.
