Woman Standing On Porch Sexually Assaulted
(STMW) -- A woman was sexually assaulted Sunday night after being attacked on the rear porch of her apartment in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood, police said.
The victim was smoking a cigarette on the porch about 5:50 p.m. at her home in the 100 block of East 44th Street when an unknown male wearing a partial ski mask and gloves grabbed her from behind, Area Central detectives said in a community alert.
The suspect then forced her into the apartment and sexually assaulted her, police said. He ran away and was not in custody as of early Monday evening.
The suspect had a tattoo of a star on the right side of his neck, possibly with the letter "S" inside.
