The Cook County Sheriff's office has used helicopters with thermal imaging as well as hundreds of people searching on the ground and search dogs.

"We've had volunteers of up to maybe a 100 to 125 people canvassing the residential areas, handing out flyers and we even had Homeland Security, who happened to be in town, volunteer a hundred of their people to help us," John Cunningham Sr. said.
