Rauner, Quinn Campaign At Chicago Churches

CHICAGO (AP) — Illinois' governor candidates have spent much of the day campaigning at Chicago churches ahead of Election Day.

Gov Pat Quinn started Sunday at a South Side megachurch where he continued his push to increase Illinois' minimum wage. The Chicago Democrat is scheduled to make stops at several other city churches. Republican Bruce Rauner visited four Chicago churches, including one on the South Side where he said education was his top priority.

The stops are part of a busy final stretch of campaigning before Tuesday.

The candidates are also getting some high-profile help as they travel statewide.

Rauner was scheduled Sunday to travel to Peoria, Hickory Hills and East Alton, where he'll be joined by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

First lady Michelle Obama rallied Quinn supporters in Moline Saturday.
