Three Hurt, Including Two Police Officers, In South Side Crash
(CBS/STMW) -- Two Chicago Police officers and a civilian were injured after an unmarked police car and another car crashed Saturday morning in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The two car accident happened in the 5300 block of South Union at about 9 a.m.
The two injured officers were both transported to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, according to Police News Affairs. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to St. Bernard, where he was treated and released.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
