By John Dodge

CHICAGO (CBS) -- If nothing else, Chicago respects the hot dog.

Beginning on Opening Day on April 16, fans will be able to purchase a hotdog that comes in a bun made of a glazed doughnut. Fans can add raspberry jam and bacon, because who can resist the greatest culinary cliché in all of gastronomy.

Of course there is a contest to name it. Sadly, if you are reading this now, it's too late to enter.

However, this being the year 2015, the name will be put to a vote on social media.

"The Blue Rocks are always looking for new ways to please our fans, and we think this is certainly going to accomplish that," said Blue Rocks Director of Advertising Sales Brian Radle. "Doughnuts and ballpark hot dogs are two of America's favorite treats, so why not combine them?"

Because the marriage of the hot dog and the doughnut is immoral?
