White Sox Reinstate Reliever Dan Jennings From DL

(CBS) The White Sox have reinstated left-handed reliever Dan Jennings form the 15-day disabled list and sent right-handed reliever Junior Guerra to Triple-A Charlotte.

Jennings is 1-2 with a 7.83 ERA this season in 22 relief appearances. He was acquired by the White Sox in a trade with the Marlins last December. Jennings had been on the DL since having inflammation in the left side of his neck in early June.

He'll be available Wednesday night when Chicago is on the road to face St. Louis.

Guerra had allowed three earned runs in four innings for the White Sox.
