VIDEO: Cable Breaks On Wisconsin Dells Theme Park Ride

Part of the thrill of an amusement park ride is the fear of something going wrong -- as minuscule as the chances are. For one family visiting Wisconsin Dells, that fear happened. Thankfully, nobody was hurt.

As WCCO reports, a Minnesota family was visiting Mount Olympus Water and Theme Park on Wednesday when the incident happened.

Trevor Larson was on the "Catapult," which throws humans strapped into a metal bench 200 feet into the air, when a part of the ride broke. The cables on one of the sides of the "Catapult" snapped, thankfully before Larson was in the air.

"I heard the loud noise but I didn't know what was going on," Trevor said.

"I was numb. You saw this cable and this metal piece coming at your son. And it was so fast. And you were expecting him to go in the air and all of a sudden everything was coming back at you," Trevor's mother, Nicole Larson, said.

You can see it happen in the video below.
