Gary Brothers' Bodies Found In Hobart

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two decaying bodies found in Hobart, Indiana, last week have been identified as two teenage brothers from Gary.

Lake County Coroner Merrilee Frey said 16-year-old Antonio Lackey and 18-year-old Arreon Lackey both died of a gunshot wound, and their deaths have been ruled homicides.

Two fishermen found the decomposing bodies Friday afternoon in a wooded area in the 7000 block of Grand Boulevard.

The Times of Northwest Indiana reports the boys had been missing several weeks before their bodies were found. The corpses were skeletonized when they were found.
