5 Stats To Make Bears Fans Cringe

(CBS) It's been a sad start to the 2015 season for the Bears, who are 0-2 after Sunday's 48-23 home loss to the Cardinals. Unlike Week 1, when it had a respectable showing against Green Bay, Chicago was a disaster against Arizona.

How bad is it for the Bears through two weeks? Pretty bad. Here are five stats that represent the Bears' futility.

-- The Bears' 234 penalty yards through two games are second-most in the NFL, behind only the Bills as of Monday morning. In Sunday's loss, Chicago tied a franchise record for penalty yards in a game with 170.

-- The Bears are one of three teams in the league that has yet to record a sack. The Colts -- who plays their second game Monday night against the Jets -- and Raiders are the others.

-- The Chicago defense is allowing foes to convert 58 percent of their third downs. That's the second-worst mark in the NFL, trailing only the New York Giants.

-- The Bears are allowing an NFL-high 39.5 points per game.

-- The Bears are allowing 37.2 yards per kick return, the third-most in the NFL.
