Students Return To Glen Ellyn Elementary School After Bomb Threat Prompts Evactuation
(CBS) --- An elementary school in Glen Ellyn was temporarily evacuated Monday morning because of a bomb threat, according to Glen Ellyn School District 41.
All of the students and staff at Churchill Elementary School were transported to Hadley Junior High School, the school district said.
The DuPage County sheriff's department was called in and after a search of the school, no credible threat was found. Students and staff were transported back to Churchill. Police will maintain a presence at all of the district schools for the remainder of the day, the school district said.
