Man Shot And Killed In Hammond
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 30-year-old man was shot to death Thursday morning in northwest Indiana.
Jasper Valliant was shot multiple times in the 4200 block of Dearborn Avenue in Hammond at 8:25 a.m., according to Hammond Police Lt. Richard Hoyda and the Lake County coroner's office.
Valliant, of the 3400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in East Chicago, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.
His death was ruled a homicide. There is no description of a suspect, Hoyda said.
