7-Year-Old Girl Killed In Kankakee Fire, Four Injured
(CBS) -- A seven-year-old girl was killed and four people were injured in a fire in a two-story home in Kankakee Saturday morning.
The fire started 8:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Washington Ave., according to the Kankakee Fire Department. An eight-year-old-boy, a 22-year-old man and a woman were transported to Riverside Medical Center. A 25-year-old man transported himself to St. Mary's Hospital.
There is no word on the cause of the fire.
