In Japan, McDonalds Combining French Fries With Chocolate

(CBS) -- Everybody loves French fries and everybody loves chocolate, so McDonald's is thinking, why not combine the two?

CBS 2's Brad Edwards wants to know, is that a combo, you'd be lovin'?

McDonalds latest salvo might as well be off the McGlutton menu: Chocolate drizzled French fries.

Brad decided to try out the combo with Amy Hansen of Amy's Candy Bar, a little candy Narnia off the Brown Line stop at Damen.

"Everyone loves a little bit of sweet with salt," she said.

It's McDonald's new offering in Japan, or at Amy's on Tuesday. Hansen offered up the treat to customers, and you could say it's a potential McHit.

At Amy's they chocolate it all: orange, ginger, but the piece de resistance the OMG Bar, a sea salt caramel, hazelnut fraline, chocolate ganache.
