Teenage Girl Struck In Face With Pepper Spray At Trump Rally

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A teenage girl was hit in the face with pepper spray during a tense altercation among protesters at a Donald Trump rally in Janesville, Wis., on Tuesday.

One person in the crowd captured the incident on his cell phone, which was posted on Twitter by Molly Beck, a reporter for the Wisconsin State Journal.

According to a statement from Janesville police, the 15 year girl was treated at a local hospital.

A male in the crowd groped the girl, and when she pushed him away; another person in the crown sprayed her, police said.

"We are currently looking for two suspects, one for the sexual assault and one for the pepper spray," according to the statement from police.

Police said about 1,000 people--both supporters and opponents of Trump--were gathered outside the rally, where Trump spoke to supporters inside a Holiday In Express.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the girl was protesting against Trump's candidacy when the pro and anti-Trump groups clashed.
