Gary Man Charged With Double Murder
(CBS) -- An 18-year-old Gary man is charged with double murder in the shooting deaths of a 32-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man over the weekend.
Harrington Westbrook allegedly shot the two gangland-style, after drinking and smoking pot with them earlier at a house party.
On the ride home, Westbrook fatally shot Amahn Jerrod Muldrow from the back seat of a car, authorities said.
The driver was ordered at gunpoint to keep going.
Harrington then ordered Dawn Sharmaine Williams out of the car where she screamed and pleaded for her life.
The driver told police Westbrook shot her multiple times.
Police found Westbrook asleep at his girlfriend's home with a black handgun under his mattress.
