Bears Make 5 Personnel Department Moves

(CBS) The Bears made five moves in their personnel department Wednesday, notably the promotion of Mark Sadowski to director of college scouting that had been reported earlier in the week after they lost Joe Douglas to the Philadelphia Eagles.

A 19-year scouting veteran, Sadowski has been working for the Bears since 2005, most recently as their senior national scout. He's also previously been an area scout and pro scout.

In other moves, Chicago promoted Francis Saint Paul to national scout, David Williams to West Coast scout, Jeff King to pro scout and Chris White to pro scouting coordinator.

Saint Paul joined the Bears in 2012 as the team's West area scout. Williams had been with Chicago since 2012 as well, serving as a pro scout.

King joined the Bears in 2015 as a training camp/season scouting intern, while White has been with the team since 2014, previously as a scouting assistant.
