Man Stabbed In East Garfield Park

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was stabbed and seriously wounded early Monday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 54-year-old man was sitting about 1:45 a.m. on stairs in the 2600 block of West Lake when another male walked up and an argument ensued, according to Chicago Police.

During the argument, the man suffered one stab wound to the back, police said. He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital.
