Shooting, Robbery Caught On Tape At Waukegan Gas Station
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person was shot in an armed robbery that was caught on surveillance video in north suburban Waukegan.
A man with a gun walked up to two people trying to pump gas in the 900 block of Grand Avenue.
He waves the gun and then hits one victim with the weapon and it discharged.
The bullet hit the other customer in the shoulder.
"These situations are very dangerous and very volatile and we would ask everybody use caution and remember that no amount of property is worth losing your life over," said Waukegan Police Cmdr. Joe Florip.
Victim that was shot was treated and expected to recover fully.
