Maximizing Time: Tech Savvy Entrepreneur Establishes Critical Efficient Systems To Help Run Businesses

Adam Bianco is a marketing and social media consultant, and the founder of Adam Bianco Consulting and Sports Foodie. He works with several startups and mid-sized businesses in the Chicago area on both the technical side of marketing, such as SEO and SEM, and the creative, with social media, content marketing, etc. As a side project, he recently launched his own website and social media for Sports Foodie highlighting the best stadium food, sports restaurants and tailgates throughout the nation.

Bianco has ten years of experience in marketing and grew up in the digital era. He spent several years in-house with hospitality innovators Levy Restaurants and the G.R.E.A.T. Grille Group. Both companies partnered with well-known brands such as Harley Davidson, American Girl, the NFL and more as they extended their brand in the restaurant scene.

Bianco shares his greatest challenge of learning all the areas of his multiple small businesses and how he overcame the challenge.

"As an entrepreneur, the biggest challenge has been developing and learning the other aspects of the business. You have to be your own accountant, own legal team, sales person, etc. You have to maximize the time you have and always be ready to turn on your salesman charm if the situation presents itself. You never know who could be a client."

"As I got started, I sought out information. I'm fortunate to be in Chicago where there are several resources available — workshops and one-on-one coaching, along with things everyone can access like webinars and a regular google search. I now teach my own workshops. I've tried to be a sponge and learn the best practices of different parts of the business. I also put some systems in place to help, such as developing a standard legal contract or using accounting software."

"I work so much more efficiently now. Time is at a premium; I hate wasting it. It's one of my biggest pet peeves, so if I can save a couple of hours or even minutes here and there, I'll take it. Working with clients and even more projects, there is always something to do, so I'll utilize any resource, as long as it's affordable, to expedite the process."
