Eve Plumb, Who Played Jan Brady, Is A Real Estate Genius

CHICAGO (CBS) -- It turns out Jan Brady knew all along that is wasn't always about "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" but really about "location, location, location."

According to published reports, Eve Plumb, who played the middle child on the 1970s show "The Brady Bunch," has sold her Malibu, Calif., beach home for $3.9 million.

She bought the home in the 1960s, with the help of her family, for about $55,000. That's about $360,000 in today's dollars, making a nice profit for Plumb.

According to realtor.com, the five-room, two bedroom home was being pitched as a tear down. The current 600 square foot structure sits on about 9,000 square feet of land. Her parents lived in the home for years, and it transferred to Plumb after their death, according to reports.
