Michael Jordan Statue To Be Returned To Permanent Location Soon

(CBS) The Michael Jordan statue will be returned to its permanent location at the United Center later in August, the Bulls announced Thursday.

One of the city's popular attractions for tourists, the statue will be moved to the entrance to Gate 4 and will be enclosed by the new atrium that's under construction on the east side of the United Center. Because of the construction, the statue won't be accessible to the public until midway through the 2016-'17 season.

The exact date of the statue's relocation hasn't been set yet and is dependent upon construction progress.
