Smash-And-Grab Burglars Hit Same Loop Block 4 Times
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Chicago Police are investigating a series of burglaries at bars, restaurants and stores on the same Loop block over the last week.
According to a business alert issued Thursday, the four smash-and-grab-burglaries happened in the 100 block of West Van Buren:
— about 3 a.m. Sept. 13,
— between 1 and 5 a.m. Sept. 13,
— between 7 p.m. Sept. 12 and 4:30 a.m. Sept. 13, and
— about 3 a.m. Sept. 9.
The burglars took cash from registers, safes and vending machines. Police don't have a description of any possible suspects.
