A man was shot to death early Wednesday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
About 12:35 a.m., the 51-year-old was arguing with another male in the 5100 block of South Honoroe, when the male pulled out a gun and opened fire, according to Chicago Police. Officers later found the man lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not immediately confirm the fatality.
