Here's How Not To Let Cubs' Saturday Loss Get You Down

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Cubs fans have good reason to feel a little depressed after Saturday's loss to the Indians, decades of waiting for a World Series run and more than a century of waiting for a World Series win.

But a local psychaitrist says they shouldn't let those feelings fester, WBBM's Nancy Harty reports.

"Feeling a little bit melancholy for a little bit of time, it's not abnormal, you just got to get up each day," said Robert Shulman, associate chair of psychaitry at Rush University.

The key, he says, is not to let it linger.

"This is not something that should produce a clinical depression that requires treatment, he says. "This is just a game. And life goes on."

With the talent of this year's team, he says, if necessary, a "Wait until next year" attitude is a wise one.
