Watch: Turning Point? Cubs' Kris Bryant Just Gets In Under Tag At Home Plate

(CBS) It's a play that may be forever remembered in Cubs lore as the turning point in the decisive game of the World Series.

In the fourth inning of Game 7 on Wednesday, Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant slid into home just under the tag of Indians catcher Roberto Perez to give Chicago a 2-1 lead. He did so with some quick, nifty base-running on what was an aggressive send to home by third-base coach Gary Jones on Addison Russell's shallow fly to left-center.

One batter later, Willson Contreras drilled a two-out RBI double. Had Bryant been out just prior, the inning would've ended in a 1-1 tie. Instead, the Cubs led 3-1.
