Package Thief Accompanied By Child Strikes Beverly Home

(CBS) -- A brazen thief steals a package from a victim's front porch.

It was caught on video, and if you look closely,  a young child is with him.

The thief casually walks hand-in-hand with the little girl who's wearing a backpack.

It happened March 29 in the 9500 Block of south Oakley in the Beverly neighborhood on the city's South Side.

The thief then gets into a small SUV driven by another person.
