Blackhawks Sign Forward Nathan Noel

(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed forward Nathan Noel to a three-year deal that runs through the 2019-'20 season, they announced Thursday afternoon.

The 19-year-old Noel had 24 goals for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior League in the regular season. The Blackhawks selected Noel in the fourth round of the 2016 draft.

Noel also has experience with the under-18 Canadian national team.
