SEPTEMBER 21ST, 2011: Millennium Park concluded its last summer concert during the 13th Annual World Music Festival on a clear Wednesday evening at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. The Boubacar Traoré Trio performed in front of a diverse crowd of music lovers. Boubacar Traoré was born in 1942, in the Kayes region of Mali. A self taught musician, he began to compose music at an early age, influenced by American blues and kassonké, a traditional music style from the Kayes region. (credit: Steve Hardy/CBS Local)
