1918 World Series
The last time the Chicago Cubs made a trip to Fenway Park, Cubs hitters were trying to figure out ace pitcher Babe Ruth, and baseball’s oldest ballpark was still a new-age novelty.
Starting on Friday, the Chicago Cubs and the Boston Red Sox will start a historic series. It’ll be the first time the two teams have played each other in Fenway Park since the Red Sox beat the Cubs in the 1918 World Series.
