Blackhawks Win 5-4 In OT, End Stars’ 4-Game Streak

The Chicago Blackhawks seemed a step behind the streaking Dallas Stars much of Sunday night before finding a way to come out ahead. Patrick Sharp scored 1:17 into overtime to give Chicago a 5-4 win that snapped the Stars’ four-game winning streak.

Blackhawks Snap Skid, Top Oilers 5-3

Marian Hossa had a power-play goal and an assist on his 35th birthday, and the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-3 on Sunday night to end a three-game losing streak.

Oilers Embarrass Blackhawks, 9-2

The Edmonton Oilers didn’t just break their four-game losing streak, they smashed it to pieces. Taylor Hall had a hat trick, Jordan Eberle had a goal and three assists, and rookie Ryan Nugent-Hopkins set up five goals for the Oilers, who ended their skid in a big way with a 9-2 rout of the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.
