Friends Honor Bloomington Plane Crash Victims: ‘It’s Hard To Imagine’

A day after losing seven members of the Illinois State University community in a plane crash – including two members of the athletic department – emotional friends of the victims shared memories of the lost.

Seven Dead In Small Plane Crash Near Bloomington

The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed a Cessna 414 flying from Indianapolis to Bloomington went down about two miles away from Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington just after midnight. McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage confirmed all seven people on board were killed in the crash.
