Accused Killer In 1957 Child Murder Held On $3M Bail

Jack Daniel McCullough was charged last week in Illinois with murdering 7-year-old Maria Ridulph, who was abducted while playing with a friend near her home in Sycamore, about 50 miles west of Chicago.

Breakthrough In Sycamore Child-Murder Case Was Long Time Coming

The 71-year-old Seattle man charged in Maria Ridulph’s death did not make a scheduled court appearance Saturday; the judge suggested health issues were to blame.
