A 22-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning, after allegedly impersonating a U.S. Marshal when he was found wandering the halls of a South Side high school carrying a gun, wearing a bulletproof vest, and carrying a stolen security agency badge.
The Illinois State Police say they opened the application process on Wednesday so instructors can apply in advance of the Jan. 5 deadline.
Tiara M. Paul, 20, was stopped by patrolling officers in the Armour Square neighborhood about 5 p.m. in the 3400 block of South Wentworth Avenue for unsafe crossing between cars on a CTA train.
Mark Fedder, 48, of Westmont, was taken into custody shortly after the gates opened at 7 a.m. Monday at the Conway Farms Golf Club, when he tried to bring a concealed firearm into the club.
