Deal To Develop Parkland Near Indiana Dunes Riles Conservationists

A plan allowing a politically connected developer to operate restaurants, a rooftop bar and a banquet hall in the heart of Indiana Dunes State Park is drawing scrutiny from conservationists and some legal experts.

Developers Release Renderings Of Development At Purple Hotel Site

Developers have produced a mostly retail- and food-oriented complex for the 11 acres at 4500 W. Touhy. A 210-room hotel would go along the northern part of the site with frontage on Lincoln Avenue.
