An Evanston woman was devastated after her small dog was attacked and killed earlier this week by a much larger dog.
A northwest suburban man allegedly stabbed his father’s sheltie dog to death in a park and told police he did it because he thought the dog was possessed, a Cook County prosecutor said Sunday.
Damien Wilkerson, 34, of the 700 block of North Pine, was arrested Saturday and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
