A woman and a young girl were found dead Sunday morning inside a home in the Dunning neighborhood shortly after a man told police in north suburban Waukegan that he had “harmed his family.”
The 22-year-old was in the 3500 block of North Normandy Avenue about 8:55 p.m. when she was shot in the chest, police said.
The girl was found around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in her home in the 3300 block of North Natchez Avenue. Investigators have not said how she died, or shy police were called to the home, but she suffered apparent trauma to her body.
