E2 Owners Renew Attack Of City Response On Fatal Night

Now that they’ve been cleared of causing the deaths of 21 people at a South Side nightclub, owners of E2 continue to argue they were scapegoats targeted to cover-up a botched emergency response.

Appellate Court Tosses Convictions Of E2 Nightclub Owners

A panel of the Illinois Appellate court has overturned the convictions of the owners of the E2 nightclub where 21 people were killed in a stampede to the exit in 2003 after a security guard used pepper spray in the crowded club.
