Erin’s Law

Gov. Pat Quinn (left) stands with Erin Merryn (right), who was abused by a neighbor and by a cousin, and has been campaigning for years for states to adopt "Erin's Law," requiring schools to have age-appropriate sexual assault and abuse prevention and awareness programs. Quinn signed Illinois' version of Erin's Law on Jan. 24, 2013, to take effect next school year. (Credit: CBS)
