The parents of a 25-year-old Marine from Elmwood Park who didn’t make it back from Afghanistan have honored a request made by their son.
A fallen American hero arrived home in the West Beverly neighborhood Friday morning, after a procession from Midway International Airport.
The brother of a Marine who was killed almost nine years ago in Afghanistan says his mission is accomplished. He now has possession of his sister’s medals and other belongings; items that had been held by a Northwest Indiana businessman. CBS 2′s Mike Parker reports.
