Gail Wise was a new teacher just looking for a convertible to make the commute to her suburban school, but the only convertible the salesman at Johnson Ford had on the lot was a brand new model that was still under wraps.

Nearly 50 years ago, Ford’s Lee Iacocca unveiled the 1965 Ford Mustang to the press. Two days later, a 22-year-old teacher in Chicago needed a car. CBS 2′s Ed Curran reports.
